Clay roof tiles bring warmth and character to the appearance of a building.

Clay tiles are a natural and durable roofing product, which will enhance the aesthetic appearance of a roof.

Clay tiling is a part of the nation's architectural heritage and add to the beauty of the built environment, adding flexibility and choice whatever the style of building - traditional or modern, clay is a high performance roofing product with a traditional appearance that satisfies the diverse demands within the building industry.

New clay roof tiles with an artificially aged appearance can be used to blend in with historic products.

The main reason clay roof tiles enjoy such popularity is because of the product itself. Clay roof tiles have been around since the 13th century and have proven their durability. Their colour is permanent and, unlike other materials, does not fade with time. Indeed, the elements work with the clay to produce a weathered and mellow appearance, improving their looks with age. What is more, clay tiles are fire resistant, able to withstand harsh chemicals and are not susceptible to biological degradation, they do not harbour excessive mould growth and are not affected by extremes of heat or cold.

These properties coupled with the fact that clay tiles are a natural and sustainable product (qualities that are appreciated by an increasingly discerning public who care about the environment) make clay tiles an ideal roofing option for new build and refurbishment work.

From deep flowing pantiles to clean, modern lowpitch profiles, concrete interlocking roof tiles are available for a multitude of roofing requirements

An interlocking concrete tile, is one of the most economical forms of roof tiling. Available in a choice of at least 12 colours and textures, suitable for roof pitches down to 17.5°

Stace Roofing only use the market leaders in manufacturing concrete tiles that are produced to a level of quality and consistency that is unmatched in the industry.

The Concrete Plain tile creates a highly desirable roof and as a design has been used since the 17th Century.

Plain tiles are small and rectangular in format and have always been 265mm x 165mm (or in fact 10½ " x 6½ ") in overall size, requiring 60 tiles per square metre. They perform by overlapping densely up to three tiles deep to achieve a watertight layer.

It is this functional requirement that creates their rustic appearance, adding a sense of detail and texture to the roof.
This character is enhanced by the effect of cambers longitudinally and across the width
