IntroductionMany of our customers are telling us the same thing: our conservatory is too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. - we only get a couple of months of use from it every year. Or it's got a polycarbonate roof which has now begun to crack and leak, or glass double glazed units that have moisture trapped between the glass sheets. After originally spending 5 figures on a solid brick base and conservatory, spending the same again to replace something that's unusable most of the year is not going to feel comfortable.
But what if we could transform your conservatory by simply replacing the roof with a new modern long lasting material that will give you back your room?
For a fraction of the cost of rebuilding your conservatory, or knocking it down and having an extension built, we have a solution that will reclaim that room that rarely gets used.
Our lightweight timber frame system with a full 120mm PIR warm-roof will give you the exact same insulation qualities that you would get on a standard flat roof on a newbuild or extension. This will help keep out the excess heat in the summer, and keep it nice and toasty when you switch the heating on.
Waterproofing with a 20 year Single-ply or a fully adhered 25 Year EPDM system will mean the weightload is even further reduced as we do not need the 18mm Timber deck.
Finishing the interior will be just as simple. After adding some lighting and maybe a skylight, you could opt to plaster the ceiling in the traditional way, or choose from a huge range of panelling which is more lightweight and comes in many colours and styles.
This usually comes in at a fraction of the cost to replace the conservatory and offers a better solution than another clear roof that lets in too much sunlight during the summer, and lets out the heat in the colder months.
Our team will assess the strength of the existing structure to make sure it can withstand the weight of the new roof.
