Incorrectly installed GRP was used on these apartments in the South-West.
A similar problem to the apartments in Bristol had occurred resulting in the replacement of every flat roof terrace on this sea-front building. The GRP was not properly installed causing water to penetrate through patches of porous laminate. This water was trapped inside the concrete sub-roof for a long time.
New timber joists and a fully insulated 25 year Topseal GRP flat roof and parapet system will keep it dry for the foreseeable future.
